We welcome audio and video submissions by aspiring artists! As hip-hop music increasingly tops the Korean charts, so does their non-conforming style. Mainstream Korean female actresses and idols must look pure, sexy, or cute (or a combination of them all). However, hip-hop rappers must be strong and confident, whether they are mainstream beautiful or not. The hip hop fashion in the early 90s was mostly evolved from the trend of the 80s, as the hip-hop community was still much inspired and influenced by the African culture.
