Before last weekend it had been a good while since I played beta/demo version of OB3D.

OB3D has undergone lot of development and as a result of that has changed as a game.

The Good

- OB3D is now FUN to play. Previously OB3D was lacking in fun factor for good number of reason. Most of the issues have been fixed and it really now feels very different. Sure I don't know moves and how to really connect with my punches yet but none of that mattered. Just going out there trading with my opponent felt very FUN. I can not stress this enough since this fun factor is the most important thing for any game. To be precise OB3D felt more fun than OB2D does.

- You can now really be master of many moves. With 3D come all kind of punching angles, all kind of different punches, different stances, bobbing and weaving and... and..and.. Well to cut the story short this list is long. What this all means is that there are countless if not near infinite number of possible strategies, tactics and approaches. Variety is always good and makes a game better and this is one of the strongest points of OB3D.

- OB3D is now P2P. What this means is that it is FAAAASSSTTTTTT. No more lag. Enough said.

- OB3D is as realistic as you can get at the moment with present day technology and yes this is a good thing.

WOW! Just WOW! All I can say is that you all should go download the updates and try out OB3D again. The game has changed a lot and it is NOW REALLY FUN!!!!! It is a good game now! Yes it is not perfect yet. It is still undergoing development and despite that it is already a better game than OB2D is now.

YOU ALL NEED TO GO AND START PLAYING OB3D!

- OB Class: A+++++ Elite and yes you got it right a FIVE STAR Elite.

- Goals: Been there, seen that, done it all so none other than reaching 1000 fights (on an alt) with above 90% win percentage I have been hunting after ever since joining OB2D.

- Titles won: too many to remember

- Title defenses: too many to remember

- Best win streak 132 wins in a row in total.

- Style: Very technical when needed to. Other than that force ko for the win!

- Signature Punch: The Rocky Marciano combo (now also available without french fries).

- Signature Taunt: Letting opponent recover back to full healt before KOing him for good.

- Weakness: Fatny, the king of OB2D

- Career highlights: Been there and done it all but yes there is one little thing that rises above all titles and such: making Reaper quit after I tkoed him 16 times in a row all inside first two rounds. We were supposed to box 100 times

- Quotes: "I just TKoed you 16 times in a row Reaper. What's the matter? Can not make is past first two rounds? Did I make you quit? Why so silent all of sudden? Oh I just made you STFU "

- Stupid nickname given by other players: Mini Fatny.

- Words of wisdom: Styles make fights. Sometimes even HOF caliber fighters lose to inferior boxers due to this fact. Everyone has their rythm and once you get inside that rythm, you will make life hell for that person (in the ring).

- PS. All signatures are stupid.

It really is an awsome game. I'm one of the regulars there and i just thik it blows dust of OB2D. But here is what dissapoints me:
-The high guard block is gone. I used to use this to block counters after I would throw a right hand lead from an angle, and without it I get clocked in the jaw every time now.

what I love about the game, is that there are grazing shots, so you can go and trade and not worry about your health as much, and some times you get knocked out with one punch even though your energy is full. That is what I love like real boxing it is very unpredictable. Also I love the reaction after you take a bomb, your knees buckle and you seem to be uneasy on your feet. Your doing some great work Mikkel keep it up. but bring back the hig guard.

Well if your laptop is fairly new then I see no reason as to why it wont work. Make sure you have some sort of graphic card then download the latest version of java then simply download OB3D. I used WINRAR and then unloaded the compresed file updated then voala it worked.

If it works for you I'm knocking you ouy.

The controlls are different. This isn't a game you will master in an hour. The good thing is that you have to develop a style and work with it. Personally I am a very defensive fighter in OB3D, and I have mastered the art of clinchin and throwing sneaky punches. Also I think its safe to say that I have the cleanest right hand lead thru the guard. For example I cant trade to save my life in 3D. But I can outbox your ass.

Congrats!

That heavy bag training is bit bugged. It's too fast. Try the multiplayer and box someone. It'll be great!

I am in process of getting new computer. I hope Mikkel has taken a deep look into body hooks by then
