My sentiments exactly. This game really went down the shitter after the stamina change that made stamina have no effect on punch power. There's really no point of boxing anymore because the longer the fight drags on the more chance you have of getting caught. The game is strictly rock em sock em robots.
I remember back in 06, there was a mulitude of styles and players.

Ya had

1: Spam boxer- This fighter would spam light punches to win on points and try to survive at the end while regaining stamina. (Weedgrinder, Xtreme Skillz)
2: Spammer- This guy tried to rush you early and take you out, would struggle after stamina depleted. (Vargas, edder)
3: Slugger- This guy would throw devastating combinations and threaten to KO at any point in the fight. Was less effective in later rounds, but always dangerous. (Viper, Skillz, Sal)
4: Technical Boxer- This fighter would look to win rounds while looking to defend as much as possible. Big stamina advantage would lead to late TKOs or decision wins.(Me, Black Bear, Rocky, Captain, Larry)
5: Technical Slugger- This fighter would use pressure and heavy damage to wear an opponent out and TKO them. (Fatny, Reaper, Mike Tyson, Oscar, Catfish)
6: All Around- This fighter would box primarily with explosive combinations that threaten to KO. (HTF,Nigel, Yacoob)
7: Rope-A-Dope: Uncommon style that resorted to completely draining the opponent and then KOing them late. (African Assassin, UFC Sucks, tigeruppercut)

Current styles
1: Box and spam- Box until the opponent is hurt then spam(everyone)

Redneck you know I'm totally with you on that. PC is by far the best, and It's upsetting when games like Resident Evil 5 and Fight Night Round 4 don't let the PC have it. Resident Evil 5 will PROBABLY go to PC later on anyway, but Fight Night Round 4 will never.

A lot of other games aren't going to the PC either, and quite frankly im getting fed up with it.

So I've decided I'm going to buy a console. I'm not sure which one, I previously owned an Xbox 360, and it gave me and my friends that ring of death all the time and i just sold it, so I'm probably going to buy a PS3.

Weird for me cuz PC is all I ever played, but it's not getting the games I want anymore, so I'm going for a PS3 just so I can play the games PC doesn't get.

I don't find it fun anymore. I'm fighting guys who are fairly new, throwing big hooks every 2 seconds, and im trying to outbox them, but they NEVER get tired, and it just ends up with both of us throwing massive hooks in hopes of knocking the other one down.

I like training newer fighters, ive been doing it for awhile, but when i was training someone the other day, i told him to avoid using the big hook, and try some long uppercuts, so to avoid losing your stamina, but i cut my sentence off, because that's no longer an issue. It's like "ah hell, just throw as many hooks as you can now, forget about strategy, hell forget about me training you, because you're already fighting like the pros here."

I'll hang around and chat with my buddies ^_^ but im not gonna fight.

Mikkel I'm not bashing you or anything, i love OB, i LOVE this game, you've done an incredible job, it's better than any other boxing game, and completely owns Fight Night.
