Even worse than the power era. Now the power punches are about as strong as the light punches, except light punches don't do anything against your punching power. My fights with john and oh wait john is the only person who still plays this game are nothing but glorified jab fests that somehow manage to knock each other on the canvas 9 times in a fight. Defense doesn't exist. No one has the reflexes to block all these light punches, and now you have to block them because a crouching jab will partially stun you. The only defense in this game, is gunshyness from being afraid of being countered and hitting the deck, which is oh-so easy.

Lean back jab is absurd, and every fighter on here abuses the lean to no end. Which I dont care about, but I care that when you trade a lean back jab with a regular jab they do the same fucking damage.

Body jab is beyond absurd. Body jab effective is the best punch in the game. Destroys any crouching position. And as of now, stuns against the long uppercut and the long hook. Two of the counters to the body jab. Any time you'd face an outside guy like Bear the thing you'd do was to time him with a hook or uppercut, now as the skill of this game is no longer, you just block and spam a light punch. Even the right hand is total garbage now.

Because of the Godly jab, the crouching right hand, once a feared punch is now utter garbage. As the guy can just back away and body jab you for 70 percent.

I know the regulars will flame me, but this is the truth.

Now I must find a flame shield big enough to hold you all back.

All 4 of you...

I wonder.....Would you be complaining if you would have won that fight???
I highly doubt it and I'm not the only person that plays this game. You came so close to beating me too.

"John represents the renaissance of OB. John stepped up and filled the vacuum Fatny left behind. Not only his skills are amazing, also his dedication to keep this game interesting and alive. I was there when he first won the title, I was watching over his shoulder when he bullied all competition, I was there when he became a HOF´er. I may not be a great fighter myself, but I do have eye for talent. John is something special, I told him right after he won his first title. John is the spark that became a flame that turned into a devastating fire. Apart from being a great guy he never stepped down from a challenge and always looked to square off against OB´s best to further improve his skills. Many HOF´ers made short comebacks during the year John reigned OB, only to be knocked out by Big Bad John." - Dick E. Boon

"The thing with John is that he's just so extremely accurate, both in offense and in defense. There's some punches I consider myself a master of, like the small hook and the long upper. Well they're useless against John no matter how well you throw them, he just keeps blocking 90% of them and hurting you in the process. Speaking of which...if he hurts you (and he will), you better move your head a lot because he also happens to be one of the best finishers i've ever seen. Basically if you're not extremely good AND creative, you'll end up on the floor. A fine addition to the hall of fame indeed." - Fatny

I've been saying this shit since my series with sugarray weeks ago(which I won them all)

I even mentioned it to Mikkel, so get your facts straight, budd

And with my occasional login I can pretty much tell that this place is a virtual ghost town. Really, John is the only skilled player that plays this game as everyone left. Even the hardcore regulars like Redneck and Viper.

By playing the game, you mean running boxing.exe. Skilled is relative. I still play OB!

I hate to say it but I agree. Mikkel definitely needs to fix a lot of areas to to make this game better. Right now its definitely a ghost town, by the summer rises up again, there will be more players.

Bullshit, gameplay just don't fit YOUR style..and if I change it, it wont fit someone ELSEs style. The fact that I change gameplay once in a while, simply gives people excuses to quit and excuses for their losses. There's really not anything else to say.

Man you are a lying dumbass. You only faced 1 guy thats in the top 10 and thats popeye. You faced fucking Bart?????Who the hell is that? Then IGeorge Forman? Maniac? and Then you lose to Counter twice aka Dinamita. You are not going to beat me. Anyways I had a game today. I threw 1 touchdown and completed 5/7 passes along with 65 rushing yards. I was taking out of the game because I hurt my back and leg. Then I got back in the 2nd half. We lost 35-12

I wasn't happy about my performance.....I could have done better. Reaper If I see you online with a decent ping. YOU ARE GETTING YOUR ASSWHOOPED.

ok stil not impressed i fought john twice first time ok was a alrite ko his style changed much so it threw me off alot same with the 2nd fight but then i skoooled him in the 2nd fight intil the last round where he stopped me.
He had 3 knockdowns and i was stil up by 1 point coming into the 10th round so basically if i hadnt of got knocked down at all i would of won.
Guess il jus wait til more people play not much challage there and john is average at the most i dnt even know why he was considered the best on ob even retired rusty guys can jus log in and beat him oh well lmao.

And yet you still lost. I do my best in title fights. You can think that you can "skool" me but its not going to happen. All you did was back up like a bitch and jab. I don't even care what anybody says about me and my skill. Some say I'm great and some say I'm average. I know what I'm good at and I'm going to keep doing it.

Reaper will be always a loser, John. He is always wrong regardless of the outcome. He used to do the same shit to me. Guess what I happened, I destroyed him because of it, even in his own lag. Keep up the good work because your going in the right direction.

What connection you fought him in slow speed or normal speed.
