I responded to your post in a thread because
1) the other topic was locked
2) No need to PM. You responded in a thread, so I will too.

And just removing a few files dont mean jack. I did once make a client for OB but threw it out because I saw no point and nothing wrong with the current ob client.

I didn't even remove any files. I never claimed to be awesome or anything. I'm small time. The whole REASON i play around with OB is because I CAN'T play around with anything else. But every fucking time, you post and try to put me down when I never claimed to be up.

Your boasting really clears things up though. You aren't getting attension for doing the big things and you feel the need to put me down on any small thing I do for any small amount of attension I get.

Ray you been playing with OB for awhile now making guys spam and sending repeated packets. Its lame and there is no point in it.

I recall you were the one that said 'packets' to me. I asked my dad about it and googled it and used it. I raped the chat a couple of times and stopped assholes from being able to fight when they ran their mouth at everyone online, big fucking deal.

If your going to do some thing do some thing that requires some coding and maybe apply it towards making OB better.

Would if I could, but I can't compile class files.

Don't get me wrong. You're still my favourite mod I just don't understand your constant need for putting people who aren't as good as you down.

uhm...players, especially HOFers, with custom OB clients is not a good thing.

I've seen stuff like this tear apart other games. Players expect a level playing field in competitive games like this and, even if your changes were benign, it still creates unhealthy doubt and suspicion.

It's not good even if you mean well.

I don't know what the state of the software tools for preventing game client hacks are or if MD5 still has it's problems but something like an MD5 checksum might be worth investing some programming cycles in.
